Stellata Table Lamp

The speckled effect on the Stellata Table Lamp is known as crystallization, which occurs when multiple layers of glaze, each of a different color, are applied. When they blend together during the firing process, minerals in the glazes react to the high temperatures in the kiln and form tiny crystals on the surface. These add texture and sparkle to the glaze, enhancing its visual interest. No two of these lamps, which are fitted with burlap shades with a self-trim, will look alike.
